We are urgently hiring for a Mid Application Support Specialist.

This is a hybrid work set-up, with 3 times onsite per week in BGC Taguig

Work schedule is Mid Shift, Monday to Friday

Salary is up to 100K based on experience

At least 5 years of Application Support Specialist Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong SQL scripting, RDBMS, Joins, SQL queries, functions and procedures
  • Must have CI/CD tools experience (Jenkins, Git, etc)
  • Must have cloud infrastructure experience, preferably AWS
  • Must have experience in ITIL process change management, incident management

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in working on relational databases(preferably Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Experience in cloud services, preferably AWS
  • Experience in CI/CD Pipelines and Tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Etc.)
  • Knowledge in programming languages, Java and Python is a plus
  • Experience with incident and problem management
  • Experience in using ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or other similar tools
  • Good understanding or have gained experience on at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc.
  • Strong in agile delivery, with release management experience and engineering exposure
  • Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth business application service operations by resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate smooth transition of application features from development to production environments.
  • Actively develop continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service operations.
  • Assist in the automation of existing manual activities to improve the consistency and efficiency of business application service delivery to end-users.
  • Effectively communicate to stakeholders as part of incident/problem management.
  • Manage escalations related to operational topics.
