DevOps Lead (Remote)


Here’s who we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Devops Lead who will be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy for our clients.

DevOps Lead provides a strong technical direction, involves establishing a technical vision, resolving technical disagreements, and managing the DevOps quality of team deliverables. Proposes innovative solutions and drives its implementation and support. Continuously supports business goals through development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provides guidance and assistance in problem-solving, troubleshooting, from time to time, and helps to build a productive and supportive team environment.

  2. Creating software deployment strategies that allow DevOps engineers to successfully deploy sites/software in any environment.

  3. Responsible for the updating of configuration management tools, code, and modules for the purpose of streamlining implementation and supportability.

  4. Establishes and coordinates educational workshops or learning sessions with the engineering department.

  5. Tasked with the creation of solutions for managing and ingesting large numbers of documents in real-time, enabling prompt search and analysis.

  6. Implements monitoring solutions that identify both system bottlenecks and production issues.

  7. Identifies and implements data storage schemas such as clustering in order to maximize performance.

  8. Conducts training on junior DevOps engineers and other engineering teams on how to build processes where dependencies are represented clearly in code.

  9. Troubleshooting issues in development systems and is also responsible for the architecture.

  10. Enables the automation of configuration management of all development, quality assurance, and production servers as well as the automation of continuous integration and continuous delivery.

Qualifications

  1. At least 3-5 years of experience as a Devops Lead or roles in similar capacity.

  2. Must have prior experience in using Project Management tools such as Trello and Jira.

  3. Has a mindset of self-sustainability, finding solutions together with the team to challenges, and spreads this mindset within the entire company

  4. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

  5. Has prior experience in leading teams.

  6. Able to meet deadlines and motivate team members when pressured with high targets.
