Latam Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and licensed U.S. Accountant to join our growing back-office team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong accounting knowledge, familiarity with U.S. tax regulations, and a passion for supporting international businesses.

Salary: Starting at $3,000 USD/month

Location: Remote or hybrid (LATAM-based office support available)

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and tax regulations.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business operations.
• Maintain client confidentiality and ensure the highest standards of financial integrity.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent active license to practice in the United States.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
• Experience with QuickBooks or other major accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and accounting standards.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
