Assist Engineer (CS & Q)

 Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive quality programs to promote a quality-focused culture.
  • Manage the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2000) and track its effectiveness.
  • Communicate regularly with customers to understand their needs and represent their voice internally.
  • Handle customer complaints with timely investigations and apply improvement tools like 8D, PFMEA, and PCP.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and lead regular quality reviews.
  • Analyze issues and recommend actions to improve quality and prevent future problems.
  • Ensure all parts meet specifications through proper documentation and checks.
  • Support product, process, and equipment qualification activities.
  • Train and guide quality inspectors and operators to ensure they are fully skilled.
  • Monitor current performance and lead improvement projects as per Schneider Performance Standards (SPS).
  • Help implement digital tools to support smart factory initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage.
  • 12 years of experience in quality or customer satisfaction in manufacturing.
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Solid understanding of processes and good analytical abilities.
