Java Backend Developer (min. 3 years of experience), hybrid in Prague

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with experience in large enterprise applications and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate has strong enterprise Java experience in agile environments and has worked on large-scale customer-facing platforms, integration-heavy systems, banking, telecom, utilities, insurance, public sector, or similar enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of backend parts of enterprise information systems.
• Follow development standards defined by the client environment.
• Collaborate on defect resolution and system improvements.
• Work with CI/CD tools and agile delivery processes.
• Cooperate with analysts, IT architects, and business stakeholders.
• Support digital transformation and process digitization initiatives.
• Contribute to large-scale enterprise backend solutions and integrations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of backend application development experience.
• Strong experience with Java backend development.
• Experience with technical specification review, development, system testing, and debugging.
• Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer on large agile custom software development projects within the last 5 years.
• Experience working in enterprise environments such as banking, insurance, telecom, utilities, public sector, or similar industries.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and agile delivery environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise integrations and large-scale systems is an advantage.
