Oracle PL/SQL Developer, hybrid in Bratislava

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join project focused on the development and support of a large-scale customer agenda system built on Oracle technologies. The project includes both OLTP application development and work with enterprise DWH structures within an agile delivery team.

Responsibilities:

- Development and maintenance of Oracle-based applications and database solutions

- PL/SQL development for business logic implementation

- Work with Oracle DB in OLTP and DWH environments

- Implementation and maintenance of ETL mappings and data processing logic

- Participation in data model design and database architecture activities

- Performance optimization of SQL and PL/SQL code

- Collaboration with agile delivery teams, analysts, and integration teams

- Work with technical documentation and development standards

- Participation in sprint ceremonies and Jira-based delivery processes

- Troubleshooting, debugging, and support activities within customer environments

Requirements — Mid-Senior level:

- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL

- Strong PL/SQL development experience

- Experience with Oracle databases in OLTP or DWH environments

- Understanding of DWH principles, data layers, and ETL concepts

- Experience with SQL optimization and debugging

- Ability to work independently within an agile team

- Experience with Jira or similar agile tools

- Good communication skills and proactive approach

Requirements — Senior:

- Expert-level Oracle SQL and PL/SQL knowledge

- Extensive experience with Oracle-based OLTP and/or DWH applications

- Experience designing complex database and ETL solutions

- Strong understanding of DWH architecture, normalization, and integration patterns

- Experience with performance optimization, execution plans, indexing, partitioning, and tuning

- Ability to mentor team members and support technical decision-making

- Experience participating in delivery planning, estimations, and coordination activities

- Strong ownership mindset and ability to coordinate tasks within the delivery team

Nice to have:

- Experience with PowerDesigner or similar modeling tools

- Experience with telecom domain projects

- Experience with TM Forum SID model

- Knowledge of Snowflake, BigQuery, or modern DWH platforms

- Experience with versioning SQL/PLSQL codebases

- Familiarity with BI/reporting solutions

- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for SQL/PLSQL development and documentation
