About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy QA Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. In this role, you won't just be "finding bugs" you'll be a champion for user experience. You will work alongside developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure our software is robust, reliable, and ready for release.
This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the ropes of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and master modern testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Test Plans: Perform manual functional, regression, and usability testing on web and mobile applications.
• Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira or GitLab Issues.
• Automation Learning: Assist in writing and maintaining basic automated test scripts (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
• Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning and "bug triage" meetings to provide feedback on new features.
• Documentation: Create clear, concise test cases and documentation for new features.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Analytical Mindset: You enjoy breaking things to understand how they work (and how to fix them).
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills—you can explain complex technical issues in simple terms.
• Growth Orientation: A self-starter who is eager to learn new tools and testing frameworks.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SQL or basic database queries.
• Familiarity with GitLab.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
