As a Resource Management Intern, you will support the team in optimizing the allocation and utilization of resources across projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analyzing resource availability, forecasting needs, and contributing to efficient workforce planning in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Resource Forecasting: Analyze and forecast available resources based on current and upcoming project requirements, enabling accurate and timely endorsements.
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in tracking and managing resource availability to meet organizational and project needs efficiently.
  • Profile Updates: Update CVs and professional profiles of team members to reflect current skills, experiences, and project contributions, supporting client and project needs.
  • Data Management: Maintain and improve resource management tools, databases, and dashboards for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Work closely with business development, project managers, team leads, and HR to address resourcing priorities and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Reporting and Insights: Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on resource utilization, workload distribution, and capacity planning to support decision-making processes.
  • Gap Analysis: Identify and address resourcing gaps or inefficiencies through data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of project resources to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Process Optimization: Contribute to refining resource planning workflows, policies, and strategies for improved scalability and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Googlesheet, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Interest in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly Business Development, to align resource strategies with business goals.
  • Familiarity with CV formatting, workforce planning, and resource endorsement processes is an advantage.
  • Experience with resource management or workforce planning tools is a plus.
