We are looking for a skilled Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager (PM) in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing project charters and project management plans.
  • Support the PM in coordinating project activities and ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Help define project scope and create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Help establish quality standards and metrics.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders including reports and updates.
  • Help identify and monitor project risks and report on risk status and responses.
  • Help identify stakeholder needs and assist in managing stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience as an Assistant Project Manager or in a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project).
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Familiarity with PMI's PMBOK 6 processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
