Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and executing simple test cases and scenarios based on requirements.

• Help perform basic functional, regression, and integration testing to check software quality.

• Record and track bugs or issues using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.

• Work closely with developers and team members to understand project needs and timelines.

• Share testing progress and challenges clearly with the team.

• Learn and apply new testing tools, methods, and best practices to grow technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• At least 3-4 years of experience in software testing

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum).

• Familiarity with software testing concepts (EG: Test Case Design, Test Execution and Defect Management)

• Familiarity with Test Management tools such as: Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, HP Alm, etc.
