We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, govern, and evolve the enterprise data architecture, playing a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting digital transformation initiatives within the banking sector.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain enterprise data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Define and implement data strategies, standards, and best practices aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Architect scalable data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time data processing solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
- Establish and enforce data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Design data integration frameworks and oversee data flows across core banking systems, digital channels, and third-party platforms.
- Provide technical guidance to data engineering and development teams on data modeling, integration, and platform optimization.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the organization's data capabilities.
- Support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives by ensuring the availability of reliable and well-structured data assets.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and roadmaps for enterprise data initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related data management roles.
- Strong experience in designing enterprise data models and data integration architectures.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT frameworks, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of data lifecycle management principles.
- Familiarity with data governance, master data management, metadata management, and data quality practices.
- Understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in highly regulated industries, preferably banking or financial services.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Duration: 6 months
Work Setup: 3x a week onsite
