This role is for a Mid Fullstack Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications with Flutter (Dart) and supporting backend services and data layers. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to scope, estimate, and deliver features, ensuring secure integrations, reliable performance, and strong code quality through testing and reviews. The overall impact is enabling seamless mobile-to-backend experiences, including state management, caching, and offline capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable mobile applications using Flutter (Dart)
  2. Develop secure, scalable, and well-documented RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks)
  3. Perform database schema design, optimization, and write efficient queries and/or stored procedures for SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  4. Integrate mobile front-ends with backend services, managing state, local caching, and offline capabilities
  5. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to scope, estimate, and deliver new features
  6. Participate in code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and maintain high code quality

Required Qualifications

  1. Strong proficiency with Flutter and Dart for cross-platform mobile development
  2. Experience with state management libraries for Flutter (e.g., Bloc, Provider, Riverpod)
  3. Solid experience building backend services with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
  4. Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL) and experience writing complex queries and optimizing them
  5. Experience working with ORMs (e.g., Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM)
  6. Ability to take ownership of features from technical design through deployment
  7. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  8. Comfort working in an agile environment and adapting to evolving requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway)
  2. Familiarity with Docker and containerization
  3. Experience building CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend deployments (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  4. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic)
