Position Summary

A Campaign Creation Specialist at White Shark Media® is responsible for creating successful SEM campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, through proprietary software, campaign creation templates, and third party tools.


The Campaign Creation Specialist is in charge of developing a strong online marketing strategy based on the business goal information provided by Yellow Pages Canada, our third party vendor, and with strict observance of the creation quality guidelines. 


The Campaign Creation process includes but not limits itself to: new end advertisers and existing end advertisers that renew a contractual relationship with our partners. This entails new campaigns and campaign restructure to adapt to WSM / and vendor guidelines.

Responsibilities:

#1 Creation and planning of PPC campaigns based on research and analysis in accordance with the client industry and budget.

    • Research end advertiser business information, competitors and industry.

    • Stay up to date with SEM industry standards and best practices.

    • Create / renew campaigns in accordance to the client business information provided by our partner.

    • Adhere to the turnaround times specific to each campaign creation task.

    • Comply with quality guidelines and best practices standardized by WSM / and our partners.

    • Apply adjustments to new campaigns and renewals based on the QA scorecard received from the YP specialist team.

#2 Contribute to the development and implementation of new projects, activities and processes that benefit the performance of the departments and the company.
    • Cooperate with your department on any seasonal or extraordinary need that may arise.

    • Cross training across Lines of Business is a must for both additional support and career advancement.

    • Provide support in other Service Level Agreements when forecasted line of business demand varies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Written English Level: Advanced

  • Spoken English Level:  Medium

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or similar.

  • Know How & Certifications: 

    • Google Ads Search Certification - desired

    • Microsoft Advertising Certification - desired

    • Google Analytics Certification - desired
