Position Summary 

The Sales Manager is in charge of leading, developing, coaching and motivating a team of Strategic Account Managers in an effort to achieve department monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

The Sales Manager has individual sales goals to meet as well, which are achieved through providing online marketing assessments to small and medium-sized businesses, identifying areas for improvement, and creating winning strategiesall with the goal of selling our PPC advertising solutions. The Sales Managers individual sales efforts are meant to provide an example in leadership and performance to the SAM team, as well as providing an opportunity to stay connected and up to date with current market trends.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will bring an enthusiasm for building and improving repeatable, sustainable processes of which can scale with the business and provide transparency through clean data, accurate reporting and clear communication.


#1 Department Sales Targets Achievement & Monitoring

  • Develop and manage team quota/goals, ensure individual goals are known & understood.
  • Ongoing monitoring and quality control of department KPIs including but not limited to: cost per lead, lead conversion rate, cost per acquisition, revenue and productivity per SAM, pipeline contribution, dial activity, employee-attrition-rate, team engagement, etc.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the leadership team

#2 Team Management, Development and Coaching

  • Effectively develop, coach and motivate a team of Strategic Account Managers.
  • Conduct regular team and individual coaching sessions and facilitate an environment of continued professional development. Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed.
  • Proactively master, adopt and train the team on product and market changes, aligning the approach with White Shark Medias go-to-market strategies.
  • Compliance with Internal regulations.

#3 Individual Sales Efforts

  • Identify appropriate prospects, and building and developing a pipeline.
  • Handle inbound sales interest from direct clients and partners.
    Assess current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers.
  • Doing product demos, audits and presentations.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling.
  • Document all activities in Salesforce/Gong and collaborate with our
  • Client Experience Team to secure a successful new client onboarding process.

#4 Contribute to the development and implementation of new projects, activities and processes that benefit the performance of the departments and the company

  • Support a culture of testing that continuously looks for improvement in processes to deliver outsized results.
  • Stay relevant. Stay up-to-date and identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status, with a deep understanding of the US regional market.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Written English Level: Advanced
  • Spoken English Level: Advanced
    Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields (preferred)
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in PPC management (desired)
  • 2-3 years of management experience in a fast-paced, results driven lead generation/sales environment. (preferred)
