About the Role:
As a PPC Specialist you'll be at the forefront of creating and optimizing successful search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns on Google Ads. This role involves developing strong online marketing strategies, all while adhering to our high standards for quality and performance. You'll work on new and existing campaigns, adapting to both White Shark Media and Yellow Pages Canada (our partner) guidelines.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Your journey will include hands-on learning and practical application:
#1 PPC Campaign Creation & Planning:
- Research end-advertiser business information, competitors, and industry to inform campaign strategy.
- Develop and write compelling ad copy (headlines, descriptions) for PPC campaigns.
- Create and renew campaigns in accordance with client business information, mastering industry best practices through our training.
- Adhere to specific turnaround times and quality guidelines set by WSM and our partner.
- Apply adjustments to campaigns based on QA feedback from the Yellow Pages team.
#2 Campaign Optimization & Performance:
- Contribute to optimizing active client accounts quarterly, learning to apply WSM and Yellow Pages best practices to ensure proper budget utilization and excellent campaign performance.
- Perform weekly optimizations to improve account performance based on established guidelines.
#3 Client & Partner Communication:
- Respond to daily requests and inquiries from end advertisers and Yellow Pages campaign managers with a high sense of customer service and problem-solving.
#4 Continuous Improvement & Growth:
- Contribute to developing and implementing new projects, activities, and processes that benefit department and company performance.
- Engage in cross-training across Lines of Business, supporting team needs and fostering your own career advancement.
Qualifications:
- Written & Spoken English Level: Advanced (mandatory)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a similar analytical field.
- Experience in marketing-related roles (Plus): While not required for PPC, any prior exposure to marketing concepts is a bonus.
