Position Summary
The Marketing Operations & Automation Specialist at White Shark Media is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers modern marketing operations, connecting funnels, websites, CRM systems, and automation into a seamless growth engine.
This role ensures that landing pages, funnels, and user journeys are designed and executed effectively, with a strong focus on conversion, usability, and performance. It is responsible for maintaining high-performing digital experiences, ensuring that all touchpoints—from forms to page speed—are optimized to convert traffic into qualified leads and customers.
Using tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, HTML/CSS, and other web and automation platforms, the role manages CRM workflows, email marketing automation, segmentation, and data hygiene. It ensures that communication flows are timely, relevant, and scalable, while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI tools, and system enhancements that support consistent, high-quality execution across all marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
#1 Company Website, Landing Pages & Funnels
-Develop responsive, on-brand landing pages based on designs provided by the creative team.
-Conduct quality assurance and testing to ensure functionality, design accuracy, and platform integration prior to launch.
-Implement essential tracking tools, including Google Analytics, SEO tags, HotJar, and other marketing/analytics platforms.
-Ensure website security, up-to-date licenses, and manage contingency plans in the event of downtime.
-Maintain and enhance existing website infrastructure and performance.
#2 CRM Email Marketing & Communication Automation
-Build and maintain mobile-responsive HTML email templates for marketing campaigns, newsletters, lead nurturing, and client communication.
-Support sales teams with coded templates for sequences and sales outreach, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
-Set up and optimize automated workflows for both prospects and clients to streamline onboarding, engagement, and retention efforts.
-Regularly update and segment contact lists in HubSpot, ensuring clean, accurate, and compliant data practices.
-Monitor email performance (deliverability, open/click rates), conduct A/B testing, and implement improvements based on results.
-Troubleshoot technical issues in HubSpot or platforms like GoHighLevel assets such as templates, forms, and automation logic.
-Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to align messaging and automation strategy with business goals.
#3 Sales Enablement & Technical Tool Integrations
-Maintain and optimize key integrations (Zoom, HubSpot, Webchat, HotJar, Google Analytics) to support lead tracking and sales enablement.
-Ensure seamless connection between digital tools and lead management systems to support accurate reporting
#4 Cross-Functional Support & Project-Based Collaboration
-Partner with internal departments (e.g., Finance, People Ops, Tech) to support integration needs such as:
-HubSpot-based billing or sales assets for Finance
-Careers page enhancements for Talent Acquisition
-Domain purchases and subdomain security certifications for the internal portal.
-Actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives that require web development or platform integration expertise.
#5 Contribute to the development and implementation of new projects, activities, and processes that benefit the departments and the company's performance.
-Cooperate with your department on any seasonal or extraordinary need that may arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-Written English Level: Advanced
-Spoken English Level: Advanced
-Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
-Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in Web Design and Website creation, and experience with WordPress Child Themes is a must.
Know How & Certifications:
-Intermediate knowledge in the PHP Language
-Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS
-Advanced knowledge of WordPress
-Intermediate knowledge in hosting and domain management
-Developing successful websites
-Basic SEO Knowledge
-Managing CRM software (ex, HubSpot) is a plus
-Graphic Design is a plus
-Advanced knowledge in WordPress
-Advanced knowledge in HTML/XHTML
-Advanced knowledge in CSS
