About the Role:

As a Home Textile Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and sourcing textiles that meet our quality standards and client requirements. You will work closely with suppliers to negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery, and maintain strong relationships. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about textiles, has excellent negotiation skills, and is proactive in seeking out new sourcing opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential textile suppliers internationally.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, product quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand textile requirements and specifications.
  • Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify new sourcing opportunities and stay competitive.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, pricing, and performance metrics.
  • Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers regarding quality, delivery, or pricing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of proven experience in textile sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of textiles, including fabric types, properties, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience in planning, development, and logistics is highly desirable, but not a must.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with procurement software (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
