Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Demand Planner with a strong background in the industrial tire industry to join our client's Egypt office. This role is critical to ensuring accurate demand forecasting, efficient inventory management, and effective coordination between sales and supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate must have direct experience in a business focused on the importation and distribution of industrial tires or a highly similar industry. Our client is specifically looking for someone who understands the dynamics of industrial tire products, customer demand patterns, stock planning, and supply chain coordination within this sector.

Work Arrangements

  • Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager
  • Location: Gleem, Alexandria, Egypt
  • Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Timezone: Saudi Arabia
  • Contract Type: Full-time - On-site

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for industrial tire products.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to support forecasting accuracy.
  • Lead inventory and stock planning activities to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Coordinate closely with sales teams to align forecasts with commercial plans and customer requirements.
  • Work with supply chain and procurement teams to support replenishment planning and import schedules.
  • Monitor inventory performance, slow-moving items, stock shortages, and forecast deviations.
  • Prepare regular forecasting and inventory reports for management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and inventory management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the industrial tire supply chain is required
  • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • ERP/system experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and supply chain teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Mandatory Experience

  • Proven experience in the industrial tire industry is essential.
  • Experience working in companies involved in the import and distribution of industrial tires or closely related sectors.
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • Demand planning
    • Sales forecasting
    • Inventory/stock planning
    • Supply chain coordination
