Our client, a luxury eco-resort known for its elevated guest experiences and stunning architecture nestled in the treetops, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their leadership team. What Youll Be Responsible For: General Property Oversight

  • Manage all maintenance operations across the resorts luxury treehouse accommodations, guest amenities, and back-of-house facilities
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, septic, and other critical systems
  • Perform hands-on repairs as needed, and delegate effectively to in-house techs and external contractors

Environmental & Sustainability Systems

  • Maintain and troubleshoot off-grid systems such as solar power arrays, water filtration, and eco-friendly septic infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
  • Champion sustainable practices aligned with the resorts brand mission

Team & Vendor Management

  • Supervise and train maintenance staff, including hiring and scheduling
  • Coordinate and negotiate with contractors, inspectors, and specialty vendors
  • Monitor inventory and procurement for maintenance supplies and tools

Emergency & Guest-Facing Response

  • Serve as point-of-contact for urgent issues affecting guest comfort or safety
  • Be on-call for after-hours maintenance emergencies (rotational basis)
  • Partner with the front desk and housekeeping teams to support a seamless guest experience

What Were Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, hospitality maintenance, or resort operations
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general troubleshooting
  • Experience with off-grid systems (e.g., solar, septic, well water) highly preferred
  • Proven leadership skills; ability to lead, mentor, and hold teams accountable
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Calm under pressure and solutions-focused in remote or high-end guest environments
  • Comfortable working in a natural, rustic setting with exposure to the elements
