Job Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager supports the overall planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities for a commercial mall project. This role ensures that project timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met while maintaining strong coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily construction operations and site activities
  • Monitor project schedules, progress, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers
  • Review plans, drawings, and technical specifications for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and company procedures
  • Track project costs, variations, and assist in budget monitoring
  • Prepare progress reports, documentation, and project updates for management
  • Attend site meetings and help resolve technical and operational issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Licensed Engineer/Architect is an advantage
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction project management or site supervision
  • Experience in commercial or mall projects is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and standards
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD)

  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Good understanding of MEPF, fit-out works, and retail construction details
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills on-site
  • Detail-oriented with strong sense of urgency and accountability
