About the job Millwork Drafter
Summary
The main focuses of an Architectural Millwork Drafter are interpreting architectural plans, blueprints, sketches, and/or other drawings in order to produce detailed shop drawings for custom millwork and casework. Shop drawings will include necessary manufacturing standards while meeting necessary design intent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create detailed shop drawings and construction documents for custom millwork and casework using AutoCAD, Microvellum, and Innergy software.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure design intent and project goals are met.
- Communicate with project managers to ensure necessary RFIs are being submitted
- Ensure project schedules, deadlines, and budgets are met.
- Revise project drawings with final dimensions and additional details for production.
- Communicate with the manufacturing team to ensure that production requirements are clearly understood.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the companys drafting standards.
- And other duties / responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the company
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Four (4) year degree from college or technical school; four (4) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Microvellum is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in architectural millwork drafting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Extensive knowledge of using, configuring, and managing software systems, such as INNERGY, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam
