Job Description:
Interim Blue Yonder Test Specialist (WMS)
For an international logistics organization, we are looking for an experienced Blue Yonder Test Specialist to support the onboarding of customers onto a large-scale Warehouse Management System (WMS) environment.
The organization is currently running multiple customer integration projects across a network of warehouses and is looking for an experienced testing professional who can help ensure smooth and reliable deployments. Due to increasing project demand, there is a need for additional expertise to strengthen the testing effort and allow technical teams to remain focused on implementation activities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities for customer onboarding and WMS integration projects
- Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate end-to-end business processes within the warehouse environment
- Identify, document, and manage defects through resolution
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, developers, and technical specialists
- Support test planning, test execution, reporting, and risk assessment activities
- Ensure the quality and stability of Blue Yonder implementations and enhancements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS (formerly JDA)
- Proven background in testing complex Warehouse Management System environments
- Experience with System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain processes, and customer onboarding activities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with customized Blue Yonder environments
- Knowledge of automation testing approaches within WMS landscapes
- Experience working in large international logistics organizations
- Familiarity with transportation, distribution, or fulfillment operations
