Role: Connectivity & Network Engineer_L3

Location: Portugal, Remote

Required Skills:

• Senior RAN Optimization Engineer with +8 years of experience in the telecommunications sector

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar technical background

• Strong knowledge of communications theory and RF fundamentals, with exposure to NB-IoT, VoLTE, WCDMA, and GSM

• Proven experience in legacy mobile technologies (2G, 3G, 4G), including end-to-end network features

• Hands-on experience with 5G NR networks and 3GPP specifications, focusing on RAN features, optimization, air interface parameters, mobility, and signaling

• Strong expertise in RAN KPIs, performance counters, and optimization parameters impacting network performance and capacity

• Experience across the mobile network lifecycle, including modernization, swap, roll-out, and optimization processes

• Hands-on experience in RF optimization, performance management, and capacity planning for LTE and 5G networks

• Experience with planning and optimization tools such as ATOLL, TEMS Discovery, NetAct, Performance Manager, and U2020

• Knowledge of Open RAN protocols is a plus, as well as familiarity with BI, SQL, data processing, and scripting (Python)

• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills with high responsibility and autonomy in multicultural environments

• Fluent in English (B2+ mandatory), with French or Spanish as a plus, and available for full remote work
