Role: Network Operations Manager
Location: Hybrid, Lisbon (3x/week onsite)

Required skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent (mandatory)
• 6+ years of professional experience in Network Operations / Network Management roles
• Strong understanding of networking principles, communication protocols, and architectures (OSI, TCP/IP)
• Solid knowledge of network security concepts and technologies, including Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS
• Experience defining and implementing network security policies, access control policies, and security best practices
• Ability to analyze and resolve network security incidents, including log analysis, risk assessment, and threat mitigation
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and GDPR
• Strong understanding of common network threats (malware, phishing, DDoS, social engineering)
• Experience applying security best practices such as least privilege, segregation of duties, and data protection
• Experience ensuring network availability, performance, and capacity planning

• Experience managing incidents, problems, and changes

• Experience coordinating with internal teams, external providers, and vendors
• Experience planning and executing patching, upgrades, and continuous improvements
• Ability to ensure compliance with security, audit, and internal policies
