Role: Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon/Porto, Portugal

Required skills:

• Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid expertise in BigQuery, including complex SQL, data modelling, performance optimization, partitioning, clustering, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Composer (Airflow) for creating, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformation, automation, and migration activities.
• Proven experience with data migration, particularly migrating SQL Server/on-premise data to GCP/BigQuery.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data quality, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and business teams.
• English B2 mandatory; French is a plus.
