Role: Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Location: 100% Remote, Portugal

Required skills:

  • 8+ years Experience 
  • Azure Cloud experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization of cloud platforms
  • Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD tooling using preferably FluxCD, and open to Azure DevOps, Github actions, FluxCD, ArgoCD or Jenkins.
  • Experience in IaC development using Terraform (with ARM Templates) and using Hashicorp.
  • Experience configuring networking in Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
  • Experience with Powershell, Bash or Python for writing Scripts.
  • Monitoring experience using Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, New Relic, Kafka as must have (others are plus Kibana, Datadog, Dynatrace)
  • Solid Experience with PaaS - Platform as a Service.
  • Experience with Istio, Crossplane, OPA Gatekeeper is huge plus.
  • Managing and monitoring cloud infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Experience with Machine learning and AI is huge plus.
  • Experience working within an Agile framework.
