Role: IAM/CIAM Engineer

Location: Remote, Portugal, Brazil , Morroco , Tunisia

Required skills:

University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a CIAM Engineer (or equivalent), specifically working with ForgeRock
Strong knowledge of identity protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0
Experience with Java, REST APIs, JSON, LDAP, and JWT
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Docker)
Solid understanding of application security and identity management concepts
Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory)

Certifications (valued):

ForgeRock Certified Access Management Specialist
ForgeRock Certified Identity Management Specialist
ForgeRock Certified Directory Services Specialist

Tasks:

Develop and maintain modules and integrations within the ForgeRock platform
Implement authentication, authorisation, and session management policies
Configure and maintain login flows, multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and federated identity (SAML, OIDC)
Integrate the ForgeRock IDP with internal and external applications
Monitor and optimise the performance of the central IDP instance
Participate in digital transformation and CIAM architecture modernisation projects
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR)
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application development teams
Produce technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing
