Role: Solutions Architect

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon OR Porto Portugal

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in architecture-related roles, with a strong focus on solution architecture
  • Proven experience designing end-to-end architectures for complex, distributed systems
  • Strong background in backend technologies, particularly Java Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven or service-oriented architectures
  • Experience designing cloud-based solutions and system integrations
  • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear architectural designs
  • Experience producing architecture artefacts, including high-level designs, component diagrams, interface specifications, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
  • Proficiency with architecture modelling languages such as ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, and C4
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, integration patterns, and API design
  • Strong knowledge of identity management, security frameworks, and data governance principles
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
