Role: Jira Migration Expert

Location: Remote, Europe

Required skills:

• Lead end-to-end migration of Atlassian environments (Jira & Confluence) from Data Center to Cloud
• Assess existing environments (workflows, custom fields, permissions, schemes, integrations)
• Define migration strategy, phases, milestones, and rollback scenarios
• Execute migrations using tools such as JCMA, CCMA, Configuration Manager, and bulk import
• Migrate projects, workflows, permission schemes, dashboards, filters, and app configurations
• Perform data validation and quality assurance before, during, and after migration
• Integrate third-party tools and plugins into the cloud environment
• Troubleshoot issues and provide post-migration support
• Proven experience with Jira and/or Confluence migrations (Data Center Cloud)
• Strong knowledge of Atlassian migration tools
• Solid experience with Jira Data Center and Cloud administration
• Experience integrating Atlassian tools with third-party applications
• Fluent English (minimum B2)
• Familiarity with Atlassian apps and migration compatibility (nice to have)
• Atlassian certifications (nice to have)
• Experience in regulated environments (nice to have)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly
• Ownership and autonomy in managing migration workstreams
• Ability to work in cross-functional and remote teams
• Structured and documentation-driven approach
