Role: Software Engineer(C++)

Location: Remote, Portugal

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize large-scale data systems for one of the worlds biggest social media platforms

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and integration solutions using cloud technologies

• Evaluate and troubleshoot distributed storage systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices

• Contribute to technical improvements and performance optimization

Requirements:

• 5+ years as Software Engineer with strong C++ and Java skills

• Experience with distributed storage systems (Apache Cassandra, Apache Druid, StarRocks)

• Solid knowledge of Linux/Bash; basic Docker skills

• Experience in Agile environments

• Strong communication skills in English; proactive and collaborative mindset
