Role: Fullstack Java + React Developer + AI

Location: Remote, Portugal

Required skills:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Experience using AI tooling to support activities such as: Code generation and refactoring; Test creation and automation; Documentation generation; Code analysis and review
• Technical investigation and problem solving
• Ability to review, validate and improve AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, security and maintainability.
• Strong commercial experience developing software using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems, RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong commercial experience using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building modern web applications using React;
• Next.js experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, code quality and maintainable code.
• Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility and responsive design.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software delivery approaches.
• Experience with containerisation technologies.
• Understanding of infrastructure, monitoring and observability practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
