Role: Software Engineer - Data

Location: Lisbon, Hybrid - Portugal

Required skills:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data process pipelines in SQL Server and SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
• Implement and manage data integration and synchronization processes between heterogeneous systems, ensuring consistency, incremental updates, and error control
• Maintain and evolve relational databases in SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including production support, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Create and optimize complex queries in T-SQL and SQL (PostgreSQL), ensuring performance, readability, and adherence to best practices
• Participate in the design and modeling of relational database structures
• Define and apply data quality mechanisms, validations, and reconciliations between sources and targets, ensuring data integrity and traceability
• Document technical solutions, data flows, and models, ensuring efficient maintenance and knowledge sharing within the team
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and continuously deliver improvements
• Experience working in CI/CD environments using GitLab
