Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from manpower requisition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies for shipping, maritime, mining, and related operational positions.
- Source qualified candidates through professional networks, LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment databases, referrals, and industry-specific communities.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and assess candidates based on technical qualifications, industry experience, leadership capabilities, and cultural fit.
- Recruit for a wide range of positions, including marine officers, ship crews, vessel operations, technical personnel, mining operations, engineering, HSE, maintenance, and corporate functions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, industry professionals, recruitment agencies, and relevant professional communities.
- Coordinate technical interviews and assessments with hiring managers and relevant department heads.
- Provide market intelligence regarding talent availability, salary benchmarks, competitor hiring activities, and recruitment trends within the shipping and mining sectors.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies, applicable employment regulations, and industry requirements.
- Maintain accurate and confidential candidate records, recruitment reports, and hiring documentation.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, sourcing effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, and recruitment cost.
- Support employer branding initiatives and develop strategies to improve the company's attractiveness to high-quality industry professionals.
- Handle sensitive and confidential recruitment processes professionally, particularly for senior-level and strategic positions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the shipping, maritime, mining, energy, logistics, or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong understanding of shipping and mining organizational structures, job functions, and technical competencies.
- Proven ability to source and recruit specialist, technical, operational, and managerial-level candidates.
- Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting capabilities, particularly for passive candidates.
- Excellent interviewing, assessment, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong professional network within the shipping/maritime and mining industries is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, job portals, ATS, and recruitment databases.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
