About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the financial strategy and provide insights to guide long-term business planning and operational execution.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and projections to produce reliable profit and loss outlooks.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze financial results and business trends, identify risks and opportunities, and generate actionable insights to improve profitability.
  • Management Reporting: Deliver high-quality monthly management reports that clearly communicate business performance and progress against strategic goals.
  • Cost Control & Optimization: Review cost of sales and expense trends, partnering with commercial teams to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and lead risk management initiatives to safeguard company assets.
  • Cash Flow & Investment Management: Monitor and manage liquidity, capital investments, and financial risks.
  • Process Improvement: Champion initiatives to enhance productivity and drive automation within financial processes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advanced qualifications such as a Masters degree, CPA, or CFA are advantageous).
  • 7 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep understanding of corporate financial regulations, risk management, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong sense of integrity and responsibility.
  • Ability to align financial management with broader business goals and drive effective collaboration across functions.
