A leading Indonesian distribution company is undertaking a significant transformation project to enhance its operational efficiency and scalability. This initiative focuses on optimizing branch-level operations through automation and technology integration, aligning with the company's strategic vision to become a trusted leader in the industry. 

Role Summary:

The Transformation Project Manager will support the Transformation Director in driving strategic operational improvements and executing transformation initiatives. This role will be crucial in managing branch-level transformations, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring project milestones are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution:
    • Assist in developing and executing the overall transformation project plan.
    • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Branch Operations Optimization:
    • Lead the piloting and implementation of new branch operating models.
    • Drive standardization and automation of branch workflows, including sales, finance, and warehouse operations.
    • Develop and implement strategies for warehouse optimization.
  • Technology Implementation:
    • Collaborate with the IT team to support the integration of key technology solutions.
    • Support the implementation of forecasting, demand planning, and real-time tracking systems.
    • Support 3rd party system integration.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Assist in the implementation of the company's strategic roadmap.
    • Support the identification and assessment of business expansion opportunities.
    • Track KPI's related to strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Support:
    • Assist in the monitoring of project related financial plans.
    • Support the company's overall business plan.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
    • Communicate project updates and progress to relevant stakeholders.

Success Metrics and KPIs:

  • Successful implementation of pilot branch transformations, measured by cost reductions and profitability improvements.
  • Effective deployment of IT solutions to enhance business operations.
  • Achievement of key milestones and deliverables outlined in the project plan.
  • Strategic initiative KPI achievement.
  • Business plan alignment with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in operations transformation or technology implementation.
  • Strong understanding of distribution and logistics operations.
  • Experience in process improvement and automation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in ERP system implementations.
