We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Head of Business Control to lead financial governance and performance management for our client. This role is key to supporting business growth, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring strong control over infrastructure investment and operations.

  • Job Description:

    • Lead the business control function to ensure strong financial governance and oversight across the data centre business.

    • Monitor and analyze the companys financial performance, project cost structures, and operational spending to support strategic decisions.

    • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and commercial teams to evaluate business initiatives, pricing models, and infrastructure investment strategies.

    • Oversee internal controls, compliance, and risk mitigation frameworks across financial processes.

    • Provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership, including financial reports and business reviews.

    • Support and advise the CFO on capital planning, project financing, cost optimization, and profitability.

    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data used in decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

    • Act as a key liaison with auditors, regulators, and other external stakeholders on financial control and reporting matters.

    • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, control processes, and business performance tracking.

    • Support the financial management of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring effective CAPEX planning, monitoring, and cost control.

    

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience in finance, business control, or FP&A.

    • Proven track record in capital-intensive industries (data centre, infrastructure, telecom, or real estate).
    • Experience managing building or infrastructure projects with significant CAPEX.

    • Strong financial modeling and strategic planning skills.

    • Able to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives.

    • Detail-oriented and have strong analytical thinking
