Financial Controller - FMCG Industry

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial and accounting activities within the FMCG industry. This role is critical in ensuring the costing, accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations, while also providing strategic insights to support business growth.

Job Description :

• Lead and oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial data across the organization
• Manage and control the cost accounting function, including product costing, cost analysis, and margin reporting to support strategic pricing and profitability decisions and analyze financial performance, cost structures, and key business drivers to provide actionable insights and support business strategy
• Develop and monitor standard costs, variance analysis, and cost control measures to drive efficiency in manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Ensure accurate recording and allocation of costs in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policy
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including full P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Analyze financial performance, cost structures, and key business drivers to provide actionable insights and support business strategy
  
• Maintain and enhance internal control systems, particularly those related to inventory, production costs, and procurement
• Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring compliance, accountability, and continuous professional development
• Manage working capital, cash flow planning, and treasury activities to support operational needs and investment priorities
• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting while coordinating with tax consultants and regulatory bodies
• Act as the key liaison for external audits, ensuring a smooth audit process through timely and accurate financial data preparation
  

Requirement : 

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA) is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
• Proven experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting and inventory management
• Deep understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control mechanisms
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and applicable tax regulations
• Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis
• Experience in managing audits, internal controls, and statutory compliance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal
