Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processing manually, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor regulations.

  • Design and implement HR strategies that align with business goals, especially in a startup or new business environment.

  • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation in line with legal requirements and company culture.

  • Serve as a key advisor to management on people-related matters including organizational structure, employee relations, and retention strategies.

  • Foster a positive, resilient work culture by promoting employee well-being, clear communication, and team collaboration.

  • Assist with organizational development and change management initiatives.

  • Manage general HR administration, documentation, employee database, and compliance audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven experience handling manual payroll processing is a must.

  • Strong exposure to startup environments or new business setups, preferably involved in HR system creation or scale-up phases.

  • Excellent knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in Indonesia 

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions under pressure, and prioritize in a fast-moving environment.

  • High level of emotional intelligence and a people-first approach.

  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in HRIS tools, Microsoft Excel, and payroll software (even if used manually).
