Job Summary:

Our Client is looking for a proactive and experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and manage the control functions in our coconut based food and beverage manufacturing facility. Facility contains mainly UHT processing plant, Spray drying plant,etc. This role ensures the highest standards of food safety, consistency, and regulatory compliance, while optimizing quality systems and promoting continuous improvement throughout the production process.Person should carry expertise & experiences in above mentioned processing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and manage all control operations within the whole production lines, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and finished product evaluations, control of shipment quality.

-Implement and monitor HACCP plans, GMP protocols, and all measures to meet localand international food safety regulations such as BRC Food, FSSC 22000 etc.

-Knowledge and experiences in other certifications such as HALAL, KOSHER, Organic etc.

-Monitor and evaluate of laboratory team activities in microbiological and physicochemical testing of coconut milk, including pH, viscosity, fat content, andsterility verification to optimize accuracy and efficiency.

-Supervise and train the QC team, ensuring correct sampling methods, testing procedures, optimize the ground level production activities to minimize mistakes to fulfill customer requirements.

-Ensure compliance with certifications such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, or BRC, and support QS department for customer or regulatory audits by fulfilling & maintaining HACCP and other systems.

-Investigate product complaints, process deviations, and non-conformance incidents; implement effective corrective and preventive actions and evaluate the efficiency of measure to prevent reoccurrence.

-Work closely with production and maintenance teams to monitor the integrity ofprocessing equipment & lines.

-Maintain and update SOPs, quality records, batch production records, and regulatorydocumentation.

-Monitor supplier quality for raw materials and packaging components; coordinate with procurement and R&D on quality-related concerns.

-Ensure calibration of lab equipment and accurate recordkeeping of all quality control activities.

-Actively involve with production expansion and implementation projects to support with necessary quality concerns & minimize nonconformities at the facility

-Prepare necessary reports to support with management requirements & report to QA manager or to COO when it is necessary

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a UHT or aseptic processing environment, preferably in coconut milk, dairy, or plant-based beverages.

Experience managing QC teams in a high-volume production setting.

Certifications (Preferred):

Skills:

Strong understanding of UHT processing, aseptic packaging, Spray drying, desiccated

coconut processing, and microbial risks associated with low-acid foods.

Sound knowledge in coconut-based product characteristics.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Competency in using LIMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Skills in handling team of employees efficiently to optimize their work forces and quality of work.
