Wisesight is looking for Research Specialists to join our Social Media Data Analytics Team. Our mission is to explore the world of social media and develop a deep understanding of social media users. Responsibilities

As a Research Specialist in an R&D team, you are a data explorer. You dig into social data to uncover patterns and behaviors, then turn those findings into Product Development opportunities such as initiating new measurements, identifying emerging social media behaviors, and adapting marketing frameworks into actionable research.

You also take on a data operations role, preparing and maintaining data so it can be used for measurement and data scoring. This includes structuring, cleaning, and organizing datasets to ensure that new products and metrics can be reliably used for further analysis.


Day-to-day work

  • Craft and innovate research by listening to social media conversations, interpreting consumer behavior, and delivering actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.

  • Learn and understand the business objectives of each assigned industry, then configure tools or crawlers to collect the most relevant data that directly supports client needs.

  • Optimize data operation processes by setting up systems sometimes even with just a few lines of code to automate manual workflows and improve efficiency.

  • Develop clear, insight-driven visualizations by integrating and transforming data from multiple sources.

  • Ensure processes and procedures are in place for maintaining high data quality, from collection to processing.

  • Stay updated on social media trends in Thailand, as understanding platform behaviors and trends is essential to the role.

  • Work closely with the Product Development Team to understand and prioritize analytical needs, including defining critical metrics and KPIs.

  • Proactively analyze data to explore self-initiated questions with an eye for what drives business performance.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Enjoy working with data you will spend around 80% of your time working with it.

  • Possess strong logical thinking, as you will analyze data until you reach the most reasonable and evidence-based conclusions.

  • Be a self-starter, motivated by a passion for turning social media knowledge into practical business value.

  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to work with large datasets, manipulate data, and learn analytical tools as needed (e.g., Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI).

  • Understanding of statistics and research methodologies.

  • Experience in Research, Marketing, Measurement, Social Media, or Statistical Analysis.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Familiarity with AI tools or AI-assisted workflows, as they play a key role in enhancing work quality and improving operational efficiency.


Preferred Qualifications (a plus if you have at least one of these)

  • Experience with social listening or social media analytics tools.

  • Experience in managing data-related projects.

  • Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research.
