Head of Operations

WishQue is a fast-growing commerce company operating across e-commerce, bakery production, floral operations, gifting, warehousing, and last-mile delivery. As part of our next growth phase, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Head of Operations to lead and scale our end-to-end operational functions.

Role Overview

The Head of Operations will oversee and guide a multidisciplinary operations team responsible for bakery production, floral department operations, order processing and logistics, including last-mile delivery, quality assurance and fulfilment processes, inventory management and warehousing, as well as procurement and supplier coordination.

This is a senior, execution-focused role suited for a leader who is process-driven, comfortable with technology-enabled operations, and capable of managing complex, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage core operational teams across production, fulfilment, logistics, and delivery
• Ensure consistent quality standards and on-time delivery performance
• Drive inventory accuracy, wastage control, and cost efficiency
• Oversee procurement planning and supplier coordination
• Establish, improve, and enforce SOPs across all operational functions
• Monitor operational KPIs and dashboards to drive data-informed decisions
• Support marketing campaigns, seasonal peaks, and new product launches
• Work closely with HR on workforce planning, performance management, and discipline
• Collaborate with technology teams to improve system-driven and automated workflows

Experience & Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in operations management within e-commerce, retail, food & beverage, FMCG, logistics, or other high-volume consumer operations
• Proven experience managing multiple operational functions and teams
• Strong exposure to technology-enabled and automated operational systems
• IT literacy is essential, including:
• • ERP, POS, inventory, warehouse, or order-management systems
  • Use of dashboards, reports, and operational KPIs
  • Supporting process automation and system improvements
  • Experience in inventory management, warehousing, procurement, and supplier management
• Strong leadership, execution, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
