About the Role

This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant who wants to transition into management. You'll work closely with a portfolio of clients, provide strategic financial guidance, and begin leading and mentoring a team. Were looking for someone who is eager to develop their leadership skills while continuing to deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationships: Be the primary point of contact, building strong, trusted relationships with clients.
  • Financial & Tax Advisory: Help clients make informed decisions by providing strategic insights and support.
  • Service Oversight: Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial statements, tax compliance, and advisory services.
  • Team Development: Mentor and support junior team members as you grow into a leadership role.
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities to enhance client services and contribute to the firms success.
  • Professional Growth: Stay up to date with industry changes and develop your leadership capabilities.

About You

  • Ready to step into a leadership role and keen to mentor others.
  • 5+ years of Australian Public Practice experience.
  • Proficient in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
  • A problem-solver who enjoys working closely with clients.
  • A strong communicator who can engage with staff and clients.
  • Proactive in understanding clients' needs and industries.
  • Bringing a positive, motivated attitude to the team.
