Position Summary:

You'll play a vital role in our small and growing team, delivering exceptional accounting and tax services to our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, managing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulations while building strong relationships with clients and collaborating closely with your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process annual financial statements for all types of entities.
  • Prepare Income tax returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Xero bookkeeping and payroll services.
  • Contribute to tax planning figures and analysis.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Australian public accounting, focusing on tax and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficiency in Xero, BGL360, CAS360 and Active Workpapers.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong client service orientation and interpersonal skills.
