Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate new product development projects from initial concept through to full commercialization.
  • Create and optimize product formulations and manufacturing processes to achieve targeted taste, texture, cost, and shelf-life goals.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance/Control, Procurement, and Marketing to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Plan and conduct product trials, analyze outcomes, and prepare comprehensive technical documentation for both new and existing products.
  • Research, evaluate, and source innovative raw materials and technologies to drive product innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Track and assess market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to generate and refine new product ideas.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on enhancing production processes and product quality.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and support to team members to foster efficiency, skill development, and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product development or R&D within the food industry.
  • Solid understanding of food processing techniques, ingredient functionality, and product formulation.
  • Proven experience in managing projects and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and experienced with product development documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Innovative mindset with creativity and a strong passion for food product development.
