Finance & Accounting Manager (International Manufacturing)

Industry: International Electronics Manufacturing
Location: Phan Thong, Chonburi
Working Hours: 8:00-17:00 hrs. (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Local Finance Team Management: Leading, planning, supervising, and developing the local finance team. This includes performance management, coaching, and building a high-performing team.
• Local Financial and Management Reporting: Establishing and maintaining financial processes and controls, providing timely and accurate financial reporting to support business decisions, managing budgeting and forecasting, and overseeing key accounting functions like accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. 
• Compliance with Local Laws and Statutory Obligations: Ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of statutory accounts and tax returns, managing external audits, maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with various local regulations (insurance, legal, BOI, Free Zone, etc.).
• Support the Head Quarter (HQ) Financial Management: Facilitating communication and information flow with HQ, assisting with cost allocations, stocktaking, and performance analysis, advising on local regulations, and recommending system improvements.
• Implement Finance Policies and Procedures: Overseeing the implementation of group policies, adapting them locally, identifying and addressing control weaknesses, designing local procedures, and ensuring policy enforcement across the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's in accounting and finance, or economics, Financial and project costing, and controlling.
• ACCA,CIMA,CPA, and/or CPD certification.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Finance & Accounting in Manufacturing (Automotive, Semiconductor, or related industrial).
• Experience in Audit work (Manufacturing) is desirable.
• Sound knowledge of Thai GAAP.
• Experienced in SAP and similar accounting systems.
• Knowledge and experience in BOI and IEAT applications and reporting is a must.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Confident to work with foreigners.
• Staff management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, positive, can-do attitude and teamwork.
