Test Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test software using LabView, Python, or C++ on Linux-based systems to validate embedded products.
• Automate test processes for photonic components like Optical Switching, OSA, EDFA, VOA, and optical transceivers.
• Integrate test solutions with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers and developers to define test requirements and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab) to streamline development.
• Analyze test results and provide insights to improve performance and signal integrity.
• Document test procedures and system configurations for maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in software development and test engineering for photonic or optical systems.
• Proficiency in LabView and Python for developing test software on Linux systems.
• Familiarity with GCP infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and embedded systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Preferred: Experience with photonic test equipment and additional programming languages (C/C++).
