WLP Recruitment is working with leading optical providers across the UK to hire friendly, enthusiastic Optical Assistants who want to grow in the optical industry.

About the Role:

As an Optical Assistant, youll be the first point of contact for customers. Youll assist with frame selection, manage bookings, support optometrists, and help ensure the smooth running of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist patients with frame and lens choices

• Pre-screen patients ahead of eye tests

• Manage appointment bookings and handle queries

• Provide excellent customer service in-store

• Support the optical team with day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service (optical experience is a plus!)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• A keen eye for detail and a positive attitude

• Willingness to learn and grow within the optical field
