WLP Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a respected and community-focused primary school in Bristol, in search of an inspiring and experienced Head Teacher to lead the school into its next chapter.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious school leader who is passionate about inclusive education, raising standards, and building a strong school culture rooted in care, creativity, and high achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and vision to the whole school community

• Drive school improvement plans and raise attainment across KS1 & KS2

• Lead and support staff development and performance

• Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, governors, and the local authority

• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, SEND, and Ofsted standards

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school environment

What Were Looking For:

• Proven senior leadership experience (e.g. Head, Deputy, or Acting Head)

• Strong understanding of primary curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment

• Demonstrated ability to lead school improvement initiatives

• Clear communicator and motivator of staff and pupils

• NPQH or similar leadership qualifications (preferred)

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusive learning
