About the Role

Our client, a successful multi-site business, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. You'll be responsible for managing debtor ledgers, reducing aged debt and building positive relationships with customers.

Ideal for someone proactive, personable, and target-driven who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively chase overdue payments via phone and email

• Maintain accurate records of collections activity and agreed payment plans

• Build strong relationships with customers to resolve queries quickly

• Allocate cash and reconcile customer accounts

• Prepare aged debt reports and assist with month-end processes

• Escalate problem accounts as required

About You

• Previous experience in a credit control role

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Organised with strong attention to detail

• Confident using Excel and finance systems (Sage or similar is a bonus)

• Team player who can work to targets and deadlines
