IT Procurement Analyst
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- The Technology Services department is responsible for providing and managing the technology needs.
- Seeking qualified candidates who will utilize their knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve as an on site IT Procurement Analyst.
- The Analyst will be responsible to plan, process, and track purchasing activities while assisting with contract management for the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing activities across the infrastructure and application portfolios:
- Follow standard operating procedures and sourcing strategies.
- Process Purchase Orders, Route Invoices, Place Orders.
- Act as liaison with Procurement, Legal, AP, and Vendors.
- Track contracts, renewals, licenses, and budgets.
- Provide weekly status reports to management.
Contract management across the infrastructure and application portfolios:
- Assist with contract portfolio for Tech Services department.
- Support solicitations for goods, services, and projects.
- Support presentations, evaluation matrices, and write-ups.
- Assist with evaluation of new vendors, products, and services.
- Work with management to address vendor performance issues.
- Perform related duties as directed.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- OR High School Diploma with minimum three (3) years of experience performing the duties outlined in the Minimum Qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three (3) years experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
- Two (2) years supporting complex projects that spread across multiple stakeholders or departments.
- One (1) year working in an enterprise technology department.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on their own in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to analyze data, develop statistical reports, and reconcile records.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies (or equivalent):
- Knowledge of enterprise software and hardware licensing.
- Knowledge of technology platforms, infrastructure, and application development.
- Working knowledge with core technologies: Oracle Fusion, ServiceNow, Office365.
- Experience in the public sector.
Not Required – Additional and Future Technologies:
- Knowledge identifying grant opportunities.
- Basic understanding of emerging technology and concepts such as AI/ML, IoT, etc.
